‘Round-the-clock’ caring with Nancy

This year, Canada Cares is raising money to support families with young children with disabilities and frail older adults who have been adversely affected by COVID-19. Our goal is to raise $10,000 during our Giving Tuesday outreach.

Meet Nancy

Nancy has devoted her life to the 24/7 care of her daughter Tracy. Tracy has Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, a rare form of epilepsy with cognitive delay, moderate hearing loss and enuresis. Tracy is 33 with the capacity of 4 to 7-year-old . She is an artist and loves to paint. Nancy even sold a few of her pieces for her overseas.

During COVID-19 everything has been more difficult; Nancy does not qualify for CERB and food has been short. We would like to give her the equivalent of at least one month’s CERB so she can catch up on some of her bills and feed herself and Tracy. Please help us relieve some of her stress by helping us raise $2,000.
