Color & Control:

Wear Plaid for Dad

I am happy to announce that our workplace is participating in Wear Plaid for Dad in support of Prostate Cancer Canada. Leading up to Father’s Day, we are encouraging all colleagues to wear plaid to work on Friday, June 19th to help raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer. It’s going to be a fun day in the office, sharing our best plaid photos all in the name of helping Dads across Canada!

There are notable Canadians that have also agreed to wear plaid:

  1. Don Cherry, Hockey Night in Canada
  2. John Catucci, host of the food Network’s You Gotta Eat Here
  3. Dave Thomas, Second City TV
  4. The Honourable Stephen McNeil, Nova Scotia Premier

Prostate Cancer Canada is the leading national foundation dedicated to the elimination of the disease through research, advocacy, education, support and awareness, benefiting the 1 in 8 Canadian men who fill face a prostate cancer diagnosis in their lifetime.

Will you take the plaid pledge on June 19? You can take a photo and share it with the hashtag #WearPlaidforDad and visit to make a donation.
