Brendon Pooran is a lawyer who currently practices in the area of disability law, with a particular interest in wills and estates planning, employment law, government benefits and human rights for people with disabilities. As part of his practice, he teaches Critical Disability Law at York University in Toronto. Mr. Pooran also has a management consulting practice where he develops performance management programs for social service organizations. He has been a member of Board of Directors since 2005. Brendon also sits on the Board of Directors of Community Living York South and MukiBaum Treatment Centres.
Important Survey on End of Life Services for People with Disabilities The Canadian Abilities Foundation (CAF) is supporting Hospice Toronto in an initiative known as the Transitions Project. The objective is to help gain a greater understanding of the needs of people with disabilities as they deal with end of life issues. Hospice Toronto is inviting people with disabilities and those who care for them from across Canada to participate in the survey. Your point of view is needed and would be very much appreciated.
